The guys at Yoyo Games offer you their own game development IDE, GameMaker Studio, so you can create and share unlimited games that you yourselves create, and totally for free!

With incredible ease of use that lets you create professional-looking games without writing a single line of code, GameMaker Studio offers a completely visual environment through which you can manage all the fonts, sounds, pictures, music and any other element you might need for the creation of the game.

Then you just have to add "objects" - entities within the game, with their own behaviour, and their reactions, defined by you through the "drag & drop" interface of GameMaker Studio, including the events and the path to take, and then the game will take shape. Furthermore, GameMaker Studio enables you to export the projects in the program to any platform, whether as a desktop application, for a browser (HTML5), or for portable devices in iOS and Android.
